(ANSA) – NEW YORK, MAY 09 – One of the most symbolic buildings in New York will have a new look. One Times Square, the skyscraper under the eyes of millions of people every New Year for the descent of the iconic sphere that announces the new year, will undergo modernization works for the next two years which, however, will not stop the celebrations of December 31st. .
One Times Square’s restoration also includes the opening of an observatory on the 19th floor. “The next chapter of this building – said Michael Phillips, president of the Jamestown real estate company, also famous for bringing Chelsea Market back to life – will be to become a new destination for the next generation in the heart of Times Square”.
