(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 13 – The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has been awarded an honorary degree in science by Manor College in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
“The university board observed the depth, compassion and courage of President Zelensky’s leadership during this futile war of Russian authoritarianism,” said Manor College President Dr Jonathan Peri. Peri then concluded by arguing that “President Zelensky’s humanitarianism and care for the Ukrainian people are unparalleled in the contemporary world”.
The University of Pennsylvania is only the latest of 27 US universities to have awarded this title to the Ukrainian president. (HANDLE).
