(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 18 – The Donetsk region has been hit by 28 Russian bombings in the last 24 hours, which caused one death and several injuries, including children. The Ukrainian police reported on Facebook. The Russians “fired on 12 settlements. Three children were injured. 52 civilian structures were destroyed: homes, 3 schools, factories, a farm and critical infrastructure,” the police wrote.
“They fired on civilians from planes, tanks, heavy artillery and missile systems,” he adds. Bakhmut is the worst hit, with “a 5-storey building destroyed, a man dead and a 9-year-old child seriously injured”. (HANDLE).
