As noted, Scott Bray showed a video showing a US Navy fighter jet that was on a training flight and noticed a spherical object.
“As they fly past it, they shoot a video. It shows that the object looks reflective, somewhat reflective. And it quickly flies past the cockpit of the aircraft,” he said.
According to Bray, he has no explanation for what this particular object is:
“But I would caution and say that there are a number of events for which we do not have an explanation. But some of them have flight characteristics or visibility control that we cannot explain with the available data.”
In addition, he noted that the number of unauthorized and unidentified aircraft in military-controlled zones has increased since the early 2000s. The Pentagon said that this is due to the improvement of surveillance systems and the detection of objects in the airspace.
