(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 20 – “There is no imposed peace, we start from the availability of Ukraine because their people have been invaded and our goal is to facilitate dialogue by step to reach a ceasefire and then peace “. Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said this at the final press conference of the Italian presidency at the Council of Europe in response to a question on the Italian level.
“Italy promotes the plan and does so on the basis of the credibility it has because we have supported that people with all our means and this gives us the credibility of talking about dialogue because we have not pulled back to help the attacked Ukrainians”.
