Queen Elizabeth went to her Balmoral residence in Scotland for a short break before attending next week’s flagship popular Platinum Jubilee celebrations, marking her 70th anniversary on the throne. She needs a break after she recently took part in some public events, even far from Windsor Castle, which has now become her home. The queen has to measure up due to age and mobility problems: in recent days she visited the Chelsea Flower Show in London sitting aboard a ‘buggy’, the typical electric vehicle of parks and golf courses. In fact, there are several events that take place for the Jubilee, especially in the British capital, on the four days of the national holiday from 2 to 5 June, and Elizabeth is expected to some, although her presence will be confirmed shortly before the appointments.
