Russian colonels are unhappy with the Kremlin and the leaders of Russia’s so-called “special operation” in Ukraine. In particular, they state that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu is absolutely incompetent in military affairs, and President Vladimir Putin is accused of failing in the war with Ukraine.

The interception of the conversation of the colonels published the Radio Liberty project “Schemes”.

The journalists managed to get recordings of the conversation from one of the intelligence agencies of Ukraine. In addition, it was possible to identify the interlocutors and confirm the authenticity of the records. The conversation is dated April 14th.

The name of the first interlocutor – Maxim Vladimirovich Vlasov with the callsign “Yugra”. According to the SBU and Bellingcat investigators, he is one of those responsible for the shelling of Mariupol from Gradov on January 24, 2015. Then about 30 people died, more than a hundred were injured. Since 2018, Vlasov has been on the Ukrainian wanted list for the aforementioned shelling of Mariupol.

According to his social networks, he believes that Russian troops can “out of habit” take Berlin, supports the idea of the so-called federalization of Ukraine, and also “considers cool” what is happening in the filtration camps in Mariupol.

As journalists found out, Kovtun is a native of the village of Zhabokrich, Kryzhopolsky district, Vinnitsa region. He also has many relatives in Ukraine.

What are Russian colonels complaining about?

On the recordings, Vlasov talks about the Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu: “Shoigu is a completely incompetent layman, f***ing. A layman in his business. Yes, it’s none of his business at all, f***ing. Just a showman, f***ing”.

In turn, Kovtun notes that “Shoigu is a f***er, fuck, there are no contractors – of course, where will they come from, bitch? They were paid 30 thousand salaries, f*** – where to get them from?”.

“The losses are terrible, our guys, f***ing. And, you know, I know a little bit of this military history, I compare, this Soviet-Finnish war, 39-40, f***ing, one to one , in general, as a template, f**k, let’s go”, – Vlasov also says at the interception.

Further, the interlocutors talk about other military leaders from Shoigu’s entourage. In particular, about Colonel General Pavel Plate – Advisor to the Minister of Defense and Head of the Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. And until 2013 – an official of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

“He gathered around himself these fucking EMERCOM nicknames – well, if we have the head of the inspectorate, Colonel-General Plat, fuck. He didn’t serve in the army at all, and he took the title from the Ministry of Emergencies, although this title is in violation of the whole law, f * * *, “ Vlasov says.

During the conversation, the military also characterizes the 60-year-old army general and hero of the Russian Federation, who is responsible for commanding the Russian troops in a full-scale war with Ukraine. Alexander Dvornikov. Ukrainian intelligence officers call him a war criminal, and the Russian press calls him a “victory general” fighting a mythical “neo-Nazi regime.”

“They have spawned a whole galaxy of sycophants-y *** new. This Dvornikov, in general, is a legend by ***. He’s completely finished, just finished. It was he who just came up with the” anti-bender throw “… Well, in short , this is, in general, a goner, f *** b, headless idiot, “ Vlasov says.

The interlocutors are also not satisfied with the commander of the troops of the Eastern District of the Russian Federation Alexander Chaiko.

“I’ll go with a pitchfork soon, f***ing, to the “Kremlin” square, f***ing in the mouth. They spawned, f***ing, generals, all sorts of there, Seagulls-x***k, b And all the rest, f**k. First they put people in, and then, b * ka, f***, we wait until they put ours, f**k. They cheered up, f * Read what they write there, everyone is fucking happy, “ Kovtun says.

In addition to the campaign “with a pitchfork to the Kremlin,” military Kovtun talks with Vlasov about the shelling of civilian objects and civilians:

“They want the infantry to go f***ing, the artillery to work, f***ing in the mouth, f***ing at a distance, waste, f***ing, these bombs, f***ing, I just throw them, n*** even if they didn’t get there, f***, let them start to be afraid, f***, f*** those at the train stations, f** *b, f*** those on the railroads, n***, f*** those”, Kovtun says.

He also calls for launching a rocket at the Verkhovna Rada and calls Russian President Vladimir Putin a “pi…ace”:

“The f***ing rocket should fly to Kyiv in the Verkhovna Rada, f***ing. That’s it, f***ing. Why didn’t it fly, f***ing? Why didn’t it fly, f***ing “I don’t understand, bitch, you fucking Putin, you fucking ace, fuck! Why didn’t a rocket fly to Kyiv?”

Ukrainian journalists talked with Kovtun

Journalists of “Schemes” contacted Vitaly Kovtun and included fragments of the recordings for him.

“I don’t care, I’ll report to the FSB about you and that’s it,” he replied.

When the journalist turned on a fragment of the recording with Kovtun’s words about Shoigu and asked if he was ready to openly declare his position in relation to the leadership of the Russian army, Kovtun replied: “No, I’m not ready … I don’t want to”.
