Nuclear: Iran, we reject the IAEA draft resolution

(ANSA) – ISTANBUL, June 06 – Iran rejects the draft for a resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Aiea). This was stated by the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, according to the IRNA agency, adding that the Islamic republic “will respond appropriately” if the resolution that will be presented by the Aeia Council of Governors is deemed against Iran .

Tehran criticized the report by IAEA director general Rafael Grossi which was deemed “inaccurate and unclear”. In his introductory speech to the IAEA Board of Governors, Grossi criticized the Islamic republic for failing to fulfill its commitments relating to the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPO) and for failing to provide adequate explanations regarding traces of uranium. in undeclared Iranian nuclear sites.
