(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 08 – Over a thousand Ukrainian soldiers and foreign mercenaries who had surrendered to Mariupol have been transferred to Russia for questioning, according to a security source from the Russian news agency Tass.

Ukraine has said it is working for the return of all prisoners, while some Russian MPs say they should be tried.
