(ANSA) – NEW YORK, JUN 11 – Thousands of Americans take to the streets to ask for a reform of weapons after the series of mass shootings in recent weeks. From New York to Washington, demonstrations are expected in all major American cities: the goal of the ‘March for Our Lives’ protests is to increase pressure on Congress to act and approve a reform.
A bipartisan group of senators is working on a compromise but after weeks of negotiations it has still not come to any result even if there is a cautious optimism that this time is the right one for a breakthrough.
