(ANSA) – ISTANBUL, JULY 19 – Turkey and Iran have expressed their intention to reach an economic exchange of 30 billion dollars, tripling the current level. This was announced by the presidents of Turkey and Iran, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ebrahim Raisi, during a joint press conference in Tehran broadcast by Turkish state TV TRT.
Citing the conversation he had with the Turkish president visiting the Islamic Republic, Raisi mentioned an agreement between Turkey and Iran regarding a cooperation at company level while Erdogan stressed the importance of collaborating in the energy sector, at the gas level and oil, to reach the goal of $ 30 billion in economic exchange between the two countries.
