(ANSA) – NEW YORK, JUL 22 – Vince McMahon leaves. Overwhelmed by an investigation into the payment of millions of dollars to cover a relationship with a woman now a former employee, McMahon says goodbye to WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment. The announcement comes a month after the company’s step back as CEO.
“At 77 it is time for me to retire. Thanks Wwe, for me it was a privilege”, announces the tycoon considered the father of modern wrestling, the one who transformed wrestlers into Hollywood stars. In place of CEO and president will be his daughter, Stephanie McMahon. (HANDLE).
