Gazprom, doubts remain Siemens turbines, flow risks at 20%

(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 25 – Siemens has provided Gazprom with some clarifications on the exemptions from the sanctions of the turbines that pump gas in the Nord Stream, but they have not removed the Russian concerns and the company warns about the risk that the flow of the pipeline can drop to 20% of its capacity. Interfax reports it. Gazprom recalled that the pipeline operates at 40% of its capacity but one of the two turbines in operation should be shut down for maintenance at the end of the month and only one unit will remain in operation. If the restoration of the turbine sent to Canada is not released, “the flow through the pipeline will drop to 20% of capacity”.
