(ANSA) – ISTANBUL, 02 AUG – Iran “will react firmly and immediately” to the sanctions imposed yesterday by Washington against Tehran. The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic Nasser Kanani said, as reported by the Irna news agency, adding that Iran will take measures to neutralize the potential impact of sanctions on its economy.
According to the official, the US measure indicates that there is no difference between the policy of the previous administration led by Donald Trump and that of the current president, Joe Biden. “In practice, they have continued and even expanded Trump’s bankruptcy policy,” Kanani said. (HANDLE).
