(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 09 – An 8-year-old boy was attacked by sharks in the Bahamas, bitten on both legs and managed to survive. The Guardian tells it.
“It looked like a scene from ‘The Jaws’ (Steven Spielberg’s famous movie),” said the shocked father: there was so much blood that “my son was screaming, ‘Daddy I don’t want to die!’ The boy is now hospitalized in Nassau after an operation lasting over three hours.
He was attacked by a group of nurse sharks, “docile if not bothered”, the authorities specify. The child and his family, his father and two sisters aged 9 and 12, entered a lagoon that is not a tourist destination, but immersed themselves in seeing several people in the water with sharks. (HANDLE).
