(ANSA) – BRUSSELS, AUGUST 23 – “The international community will never accept Russia’s illegal imperialist annexation of your territory”. This was stated by the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz speaking in connection with the summit of the Crimean Platform together with the Canadian premier, Justin Trudeau.
Scholz guaranteed Germany’s support for Ukraine with sanctions, and financially. “We will continue to supply weapons – said the German Chancellor among other things – We have put on the track a new package, including another modern air defense system, rocket launchers and tons of ammunition, anti-drone devices and armed recovery vehicles”.
