Tired of being single, young man makes billboard ad to find first girlfriend

A 23-year-old got tired of the single life and decided to look for a girlfriend in an unconventional way. He bet on a billboard ad to find love. Ed Chapman lives in England and never dated and, according to the British newspaper daily mail, never managed to arrange a meeting through conventional means, so he decided to appeal to a billboard. “I tried some dating apps, but it didn’t work for me, so I decided I needed to try something different,” he said in an interview with the newspaper, where he also said that he received hundreds of messages from people between the ages of 18 and 48 and is now organizing his first date. “I got to an age where I thought I should at least have had a date sooner,” she said. “I’m 23 years old and I’m ready to meet someone I hope to be in a relationship with,” he added, adding that he received the first message the same day the billboard was put up. “It’s really exciting and a sign that something positive is to come”, he reported, happy with the moment he is living. Chapman is currently talking to four women and reveals that they are all looking forward to getting to know him in person, just as he is looking forward to hanging out with them. “Obviously I’m a little nervous about going on my first date, but it must be good,” he says. The young man, who is a content creator and was responsible for designing his own ad, says that the idea of ​​making a billboard came when he was walking around downtown Leeds – where he lives. Chapman says his idea was approved by the suitors. “They thought it was great that I was putting myself out there and that’s what they’re looking for in a potential partner.” Asked if he had the support of his family, he says they “found it funny, but they’re happy that I’m trying to find someone, even if in an unorthodox way,” he concludes.
