In the city of Znojmo (Czech Republic), a local resident hung out the flag of the Wagner private military company on the territory of a private house. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident.
It is known that the flag of Russian terrorists was hung out by a citizen of the Czech Republic, Lucia Brihtova, who openly supports Russian aggression in social networks. It is reported by Czech Radio.
According to the representative of the Czech police, David Chaloupka, law enforcement officers are familiar with this case and are now conducting an investigation. At the same time, he did not evaluate the actions of the woman, only noting that the comments were premature.
The flag of the mercenaries of the PKK “Wagner” was hung on her site by a Czech citizen Lucia Brihtova, who actively demonstrates her sympathy for the Russian occupying army on Facebook. Also, many anti-Ukrainian posts were found on her social media page.
The woman is sure that there is nothing illegal in her actions. However, earlier in the Czech Republic there was already a precedent. In March 2023, 31-year-old Jakub Jasek demonstrated in Prague wearing a “Z” patch on his backpack and the Wagner PPC logo on his jacket sleeve.
The other day the court sentenced him for denying the fact of the genocide and approving the war crimes of Russia to six months of suspended imprisonment. He was also forbidden to come to Prague for one year and a fine of 12,000 crowns (about 500 euros) was imposed on him.
Recall, on May 9, the lower house of the French Parliament, the National Assembly, recognized the Russian private military company Wagner as a terrorist organization. Its mercenaries are actively involved in the war against Ukraine.
