Three people died and nine remain missing, including two children, after a vessel turned in front of the coast of Californiain the west of United Statesthe authorities reported on Monday. The Coast Guard was warned that a vessel had problems near the municipality of Del Mar, north of San Diego, around 6:30 am (10:30 am from GMT), his spokesman Hunter Schnabel said. “Three people were located and it was proved that they had died,” he said.

The spokesman, who did not give information about the destination of the vessel, said that “it is suspected that some people are of Indian nationality.” He added that the vessel was panga type, a tall bow wood fishing boat that is used to transport to the United States migrant Mexico.
