The British justice condemned this Thursday (19) Zenhao Zou, Chinese student of doctorate at University College London (UCL), for drug and rape ten women between 2019 and 2023, in London and in China. Judge Rosina Cottage defined the penalty as a life imprisonment, with a minimum period of 22 -year compliance, classifying Zou as a “sexual predator.”
Seven of the crimes occurred in China and three in London. The defendant mainly attracted young Chinese women to his apartment under the pretext of drinking or studying, where he drugs and adhabed sexually. He recorded attacks with hidden cameras or cell phones and stored videos and personal effects of the victims. Although only three victims were identified, the evidence was enough for the conviction. British police believe there may be more victims.

The investigation began in November 2023, after complaint of one of the victims. Police seized Zou’s phone and found videos of him committing the crimes. London authorities made an international appeal for other victims to perform, receiving contacts from more than 20 women, residents of the United Kingdom, China and other countries.
