(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, DEC 19 – Patrick Zaki has regained access to his account on Instagram. This was written on his Twitter profile by the same Egyptian student from the University of Bologna who, in recent days, had addressed, in a tweet, an appeal to Instagram to regain access to his profile after almost two years in prison. “I just got my Instagram account back – writes Zaki in English – full of memories, support and love”. Then, in Italian, he adds: “The profile is back”.
The Alma Mater student has recently been released from prison after 22 months but is still on trial in Egypt, with an upcoming hearing scheduled for February 1. Back in the wild, he reopened two official accounts, on Twitter and Facebook, while a fake account was initially spread on Instagram and then closed. (HANDLE).
