The American ruler complained that the Norwegian Nobel Committee ignored his role as mediator in conflicts between India and Pakistan, as well as between Serbia and Kosovo. It also claimed the merit of “maintaining peace” between Egypt and Ethiopia and having negotiated the agreements of Abraham, a series of agreements designed to normalize the relations between Israel and various Arab countries. Trump introduced himself as a “peacemaker” during the election campaign, which would use his negotiating skills to quickly end up wars in Ukraine and Gaza, although both conflicts persist after more than five months in office.
