The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahusaid this Monday (7) that he appointed Donald Trump for the Nobel Peaceand handed the American president a letter he sent to the committee of this prestigious award. “He is forging peace while we speak in one country in one region after another,” Netanyahu said during a Trump dinner at the White House. The Republican tycoon has received diverse nominations over the years to the Nobel Peace by supporters and loyal legislators, and does not hide his irritation for not gaining recognition.

The American ruler complained that the Norwegian Nobel Committee ignored his role as mediator in conflicts between India and Pakistan, as well as between Serbia and Kosovo. It also claimed the merit of “maintaining peace” between Egypt and Ethiopia and having negotiated the agreements of Abraham, a series of agreements designed to normalize the relations between Israel and various Arab countries.
