French President Emmanuel Macron appealed on Thursday for his country and the United Kingdom to recognize the state of Palestine together, the “unique” path “consistent with a perspective of peace” between Israel and Palestinians. “I believe in the need to unite our voices in Paris, London and everywhere to recognize a state of Palestine and start this political dynamic, which is the only one consistent with a perspective of peace,” he said Macron at a press conference alongside the British Prime Minister, Keir Strmer.
