Ultra settlers attack Palestinians and Jews in the West Bank

A group of ultra settlers attacked Palestinian farmers working in an olive grove and Jewish activists from the ‘organization’ Rabbis for civil rights’ in the lands of the village of Burin (West Bank) who came from Israel to support them. This was reported by the Palestinian news agency Wafa and the Israeli public radio Kan.
Following the attack by the settlers, four Israeli activists were injured and taken to hospital. Their car was set on fire by the attackers. Wafa adds that some Palestinians were also injured. Those responsible fled and so far there is no news of arrests. On Twitter, Deputy Minister Yair Golan (a reserve general who is a member of the left-wing Meretz party) immediately condemned the attack.
Meanwhile, new tensions are also recorded in East Jerusalem in the Sheikh Jarrah ward where two days ago the town hall razed the home of a Palestinian family to the ground. Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Arye King came for an inspection (in view of a new demolition) and according to the media his presence triggered immediate protests.
