British Prime Minister Boris Johnson Twitter published a video message in which he expressed his country’s support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
“I’m in Kiev – this is the capital of Ukraine, and the situation here is very difficult, as you know. About 125,000 Russian military men threaten the borders of Ukraine, and there is a very real prospect of an early and sudden attack, an invasion of even more Ukrainian territory than happened in 2014,” he said.
We stand foursquare behind the Ukrainian people and for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

He also explained why Britain allocated 88 million pounds to Ukraine
“It is very important for the world and Ukraine, and above all for Russia, that this does not happen and that President Putin does not make a catastrophic mistake. That is why we are giving another 88 million pounds sterling for economic support to Ukraine in addition to the supply of lethal weapons – defense lethal weapons And, of course, we are working together with our friends and partners to ensure a very, very powerful package of economic sanctions that will be introduced as soon as the boot of the first Russian soldier sets foot on another part of the sovereign territory of Ukraine,” he said.
The video also shows footage from his visit to Kiev and from Johnson’s talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
