The Monza racetrack obtains the highest recognition from the FIA, the International Automobile Federation, in terms of environmental sustainability. For the Brianza circuit inside the Monza Park, the largest enclosed green area in Europe, the FIA 3 Star recognition has arrived, assigned by the FIA for compliance with the highest environmental standards.
The recognition comes after the Fia 1 Star and Fia 2 Star awards were assigned in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Wrc World Rally Championship, precisely for the protection in favor of green areas. “We see the commitment to protect the environment as a duty not only towards the community for which we have been working for over 100 years – comments Giuseppe Redaelli, president of Sias, the company that manages the Monza racetrack – but also for the future generations who will continue to develop a passion for motor sport and to enjoy its positive economic effects on the whole surrounding area, as well as enjoying the beauty of a unique park of its kind”.
