Citroen oli brings the innovation of the brand to Italy

In conjunction with the convention, called “Against the current”, held on February 14th at the Allianz Cloud in Milan, Citroën oli arrived in Italy, following its international debut on September 29th in Paris.
With this concept, the brand aims to change the rules of the market by creating a sustainable and accessible car.
Indeed, the Citroën oli represents a path towards an optimistic and functional electric mobility, which tends to maximize the longevity and duration of the vehicle, with the aim of obtaining the best life cycle assessment. Furthermore, with this project the French brand wants to ensure reference performance and autonomy, thanks also to a weight of around 1,000 kg and a 40 kWh battery which guarantees an autonomy of up to 400 km, and can be recharged from 20% to 80% in 23 minutes. Oli also aims to maximize efficiency by limiting the top speed to 110km/h. The concept in question represents the new positioning of the brand, through a strategy and a vision that runs counter to current trends in the automotive industry, as can also be seen from the innovative and unconventional materials, such as the recycled honeycomb cardboard used for the bonnet panels , roof and boot floor.
“Citroen oli – said Laurent Barria, head of Citroën marketing & communication – represents our starting point towards an optimistic and functional electric mobility, which meets the needs of consumers, increasingly sensitive to pollution problems and looking for reliable vehicles, both economically and environmentally. The new concept car will inspire design elements and technologies that will be used in future models of the range”.
