Peugeot, #camocatch initiative ahead of the launch of the new 3008

In view of the presentation of the new 3008, scheduled for next September, Peugeot is launching the #camocatch operation, an unprecedented initiative to give all design enthusiasts the opportunity to choose the camouflage graphics of the prototypes of the new Lion model that will carry out tests in Europe during the summer.
From 15 May to 2 June, the communication campaign dedicated to #camocatch will be present on Peugeot’s social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn). By accessing these pages, the public – with no residence restrictions – will be able to choose one or more favorite camouflages from among the 10 proposals created by the Peugeot designers.
For this initiative, Peugeot’s designers have created 10 new graphic motifs to form the camouflage. These are innovative and high-impact solutions which, transferred to the adhesive film, are able to hide the details of the shapes of the new Peugeot 3008. And at the same time arouse emotions, thanks to a graphic approach which – as stated by the designers from Sochaux – reiterates that ‘the world is better with allure’.
the six camouflage themes that will receive the highest number of votes will be created in June and will be used to disguise the 3008 prototypes that will participate in the development tests on the road between July 1 and August 15.
Peugeot invites the ‘hunt’ for these prototypes, naturally in compliance with safety standards. Anyone lucky enough to see a Peugeot 3008 in disguise is invited to photograph it and post the image on Peugeot accounts using the hashtag #camocatch.
Precisely through a selection of the participants who posted images of the new generation of 3008 – which will be marketed over the next year – some ‘non-professional’ testers will be chosen who will be able to drive it in preview at the beginning of 2024.
