That of the Denza Concept Z was a ‘disruptive’ debut in the world of supercars because this aggressive 950 HP coupe and capable of shooting from 0 to 100 in 3.4 seconds costs in China 36 thousand euros, that is, as a crossover or a medium-low European SUV.
The byd premium brand that revealed it on the occasion of the Shanghai Motor Show was revealed in the world premiere shows that the Denza brand – recently also arrived in Italy – brings even higher the bar of its high tech products not only from the point of view of aesthetics and content but also of technologies.
Denza Concept Z – whose style is due to the Director of the Design of the Byd Wolfgang Egger group (formerly Alfa Romeo and Audi) presents, for example, an expiration inspired by motorsport with carbon fiber components, including integrated anatomical seats. Three displays stand out, one of which is a huge central, high -level finite and above all a folding steering wheel, which disappears under the dashboard when the autonomous driving is activated.
There is also possible because Denza Concept Z uses the Steer-by-Wire system which provides that the connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels is no longer physical but only via electrical signals, managed by a special computer.
In addition to the possibility of making the steering wheel disappear when not needed, the great advantage lies in driving precision – answers from the road surface included – and in the possibility of personalizing the feeling of ‘readiness’ of the steering based on the driving style.
Denza concept z also incorporates the dysus-m, a system of intelligent suspension specifically designed for electric vehicles. It is based on magnetorological fluidodinamics, that is adjustable by applying a magnetic field to the fluid that contains sensitive particles.
This is thus possible a fluid and real time regulation of the suspensions (the response times are lower than 10 milliseconds) and with bidirectional and continuous regulation. This means that the effect of the system works both for damping in extension and compression.
The speed of the reactions also allows to obtain preventive adjustment based on road preview data via the video camera or information via Cloud.
There are three electric engines that together develop over 700 kW (about 950 HP) and – despite the specific data have not yet been disclosed – as it also sets off for other models of the group Z Z should use Blade technology batteries of about 100 kWh. And therefore an autonomy of over 600 km according to the WLTP standard.
