Knowledge of the rules of movement is vital for ensuring the safety of all participants on the road. These rules apply not only to car drivers, but also on pedestrians, motorcyclists and, of course, cyclists.
Cycles are full users of the road and are required to comply with the established rules. Especially important is the understanding of the rules of the intersection and the execution of maneuvers, such as a turn on the left. The correct performance of these actions helps to avoid dangerous situations on the road.
Consider a typical intersection, which often raises the question: how is the cyclist safe and turned left in accordance with the rules? In the proposed task, the cyclist approaches the intersection and intends to turn left, with hypothetical opportunities to perform this maneuver.
He is offered two options: option A must turn from the extreme left road of the road intended for vehicles that are not related to the reacts, and the option B – to turn from the tram paths of the passing direction.
The general rules of the movement establish that at the intersections, where the tram trays of the passing direction are located along with the carriageway, on these routes, the manufacture of vehicles to the left or turn (non -transmission) should usually be made. This rule is used if signs or road markings do not determine another movement order.
However, this general principle has exceptions and does not apply to all traffic users. It is important to remember that for certain categories of vehicles and their drivers there are separate, specific rules of the rules of movement that regulate the execution of maneuvers at intersections.
In particular, a special point of the rules of movement concerns the movement of cyclists, drivers of mopeds, projects and riders. This item determines that the turns on the left and the turn of such participants in the movement are allowed to be carried out only on the roads that meet certain criteria.

This means that the cyclist cannot safely turn at such a intersection and should look for alternative ways (for example, cross the intersection directly, then turn left in the permitted place or use a pedestrian intersection that leads a bicycle nearby).
