The ability to properly navigate the rules of movement is critical for the safety of all road users. The knowledge of the crossroads, changes in the alleys and maneuvering is especially relevant, because it is in these areas that emergency situations often arise.
Incorrect priorities or error, when determining the priority, can lead not only to a clash, but also to serious health and life. Therefore, even experienced drivers are useful to test their knowledge from time to time with the help of road tests. One of these OBOZ.UA proposes to disassemble in the next DA test.
The essence of the situation is that on the road with two stripes in each direction two cars are simultaneously maneuvering: blue and yellow. The blue car plans to change the strip to the right to the right, turning on the corresponding turn indicator. The yellow driver, in turn, wants to restore from the right lane to the left to turn in the place. Both cars include signs and at the same time begin movement, which creates a potentially dangerous road situation.
In such cases, paragraph 10.3 of the Rules of the Traffic of Ukraine comes into force. According to him, with the simultaneous restriction of two vehicles, the preference has the one who is on the right. This means that the left driver is obliged to give the car to his right.
If you analyze the location of vehicles in the image, it will become clear that it is the driver of the blue car who must give in. In the end, his intention is to restore in the lane, where the yellow machine moves, which is also restored on the left. Thus, according to the rules of the road, preference is those who are right, that is, a yellow machine.
The correct answer in the test is option No. 2: The driver of the blue car is obliged to give the road.
This test is a good example of how details in the rules can be crucial on the road. Timely updating of knowledge about traffic is the key to safety, confidence behind the wheel and avoiding trouble.
OBOZ.UA invites drivers to try another test and determine the authorized direction of the car.
