In what order will the cars cross the intersection? Traffic test test

The requirement to pass the vehicle that approaches the right side is one of the keys in DA. But what if there is an obstacle to the right at the intersection of each participant?

The task with such conditions was published by the YouTube channel “Rules!”. In the picture with the task, we see red and yellow cars, as well as a truck that met at an intersection in intervention. All drivers signal that they turn left. In what order will they pass this section of roads? Here are the answer options:

  1. Red car, yellow, blue truck;
  2. Red car, blue truck, yellow;
  3. Yellow car, blue truck, red;
  4. Yellow car, red, blue truck;
  5. Truck, red car, yellow;
  6. Truck, yellow car, red;
  7. They will be eaten by a joint agreement.

The situation is complicated by the fact that the intersection is not equipped with traffic lights, has no signs that regulate movement on it, and all roads have the same type of coating. This means that we have an ordinary unregulated intersection of equivalent roads.

At such a crossroads, drivers should be guided by the rule of obstacles to the right (paragraph 16.12 of the current rules of movement). But here all the participants in the situation have an obstacle to the right, so this rule will not work in this situation.

What to do when the task seems to have no solution? In this case, one of the drivers should accept the initiative and demonstrate the willingness to skip other road users.

For example, let’s imagine that in this situation the truck driver did it. He broke out the headlights, saying that he was ready to go through cars. In this case, the obstacle to the right disappears from the driver of the yellow car. When it passes, the road is available for a red car. And the truck, respectively, will move the latter.

But this order is hypothetical and can change depending on which drivers will accept the initiative. Therefore, the correct answer here is the seventh – the order of travel will depend on how the drivers agree with each other.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA published a task that was supposed to determine whether drivers should miss a pedestrian.
