Since the end of June, the conflict between Azerbaijan and Russia has developed. Baku accused the Russian Federation of killing two detained Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg, and arrests and arrests are held in both countries.
Nevertheless, everything was not over, and Azerbaijan’s media remembered Azzerbaijan Airlines aircraft, which were probably shot down by the Russian air defense six months ago. OBOZ.UA found out that it went wrong between Baku and Moscow.
Recently, Azerbaijan was called “a strategic partner who does not fail anywhere and nowhere.” The countries maintained a rather stable relationship, Baku and Moscow actively cooperated in the field of energy, weapons and trade.
“The relations of Russia and Azerbaijan were in the very island of the crisis in the post -Soviet history,” so write the Russian media about what is happening.
Meanwhile, the press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov said that the conversation of Russian leaders and Azerbaijan has not yet been planned, but “if necessary, this will happen in the most mature time.”
Raids in Yekaterinburg
It all started on June 27, when a large -scale raid organized by the Ministry of the Interior, FSB and Rosguard in the Russian Criminal Code of the Murder in 2001, 2010 and 2011 in Russia Yekaterinburg. The search took place in more than 10 apartments where the Azerbaijanis lived. About 50 people were detained, and two – the Ziaddin brothers and Huguein Safarov – were killed.
According to the Criminal Code, one of them allegedly died of heart failure, the second cause of death was indicated. However, after the bodies of Safarov were sent to Baku, the Azerbaijani side conducted its own examination: numerous injuries, fractures and internal bleeding were discovered. This caused a sharp resonance in Azerbaijan.
Baku’s reaction
Azerbaijan officially called the protagonist, protesting in connection with this situation. The General Office of the prosecutor in the country opened a criminal case in accordance with articles on torture and deliberate murder. The Azerbaijani authorities also abolished all Russian cultural and inter -parliamentary measures, including Russia in Baku.
Despite the scandal, on Sunday and Monday, the court in Yekaterinburg sent the detainees during the raid Bakir, Mazakhira, Akif and Avo Safarovoi. Two more detained Azerbaijanis are in a hospital in serious condition after sending to OBC, they will be selected later, they will transfer an “important story”.
Further actions of Azerbaijan
According to OBOZ.UA, the Azerbaijani police searched the Russian Information Agency “Sputnik Azerbaijan” in Baku. Two agents of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation were detained, they were the executive director and editor-in-chief of Azerbaijan’s satellite Igor Kartavi and Evgeny Belousov.
Both were taken into custody for four months. Russians are accused of five articles of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
And on July 1, another group of Russians detained in Azerbaijan. They are suspected of transit preparations from Iran to contribute to their blood circulation, as well as in cybercriminals.
The personnel posted on the network show that the detainees were beaten. Famous names of five of them: 41-year-old Anton, the founder of the IT platform for the provision of household services online Airo; 30-year-old Dmitry Besugli worked as a programmer in VK and Yandex, and left the country after mobilization in Russia in September 2022; 23-year-old Sergei Sofronov-programmist from Cherepovtsi, left Russia in 2022, having first moved to Kazakhstan, and then to Azerbaijan; 35-year-old tourist from Yekaterinburg Alexander Vaiser-Kama in Baku on vacation in early June; 38-year-old former employee Gazpromneft and Rosneft Valery Dulov from St. Petersburg.
New rounds in the Russian Federation
We wrote that in response to the detention of Russian citizens in Azerbaijan, Russian security forces took similar actions in Voronzh and Yekaterinburg on July 1.
So, in Yekaterinburg, the head of the local Azerbaijani diaspora Shakhin Shikhlinsky was detained. The security forces broke the car window, pulled Shikhinsky from the car and put on it.
And in Voronhh, Yusif Khalilov, a native of Azerbaijan and co -author of the great Alekseevsky market detained. Security forces came to him.
History with an airplane
The current conflict between Baku and Moscow is the second in recent months. We will recall: December 25 in Kazakhstan, the airline Air Company Air Company airline, which passed from Baku to Sevens, fell. According to Azerbaijan, they attacked the air defense agents on the rise in Chechnya.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev demanded that Putin apologize and plead guilty. In the end, the dictator only apologized for the fact that the “incident” with the liner occurred in Russia, but refused to take responsibility for the death of people.
Now the Azerbaijani media again recalled what happened by publishing an explanatory note and the sound of an air defense officer.
