The Cabinet dismissed all members of Naftogaz’s supervisory board, and Ukraine signed an additional agreement with USAID for $ 9 million.

Ukraine signed an additional agreement with USAID for $ 9 million in the field of development. Of this, $ 7 million will be used to improve the health of Ukrainians, and the other $ 2 million will go to ensure economic growth.

“The life and health of people are always a priority of the state. Thanks to this deal, Ukraine will be able to direct additional financial resources to strengthen the capacity of the medical system and improve the effectiveness of treatment of diseases”, – said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.

Dismissals at Naftogaz

The Cabinet of Ministers took over the powers of the Supervisory Board – dismissed three state representatives in NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

“The powers of all members of the Supervisory Board have been terminated, therefore the shareholder (the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine) and the new management will make all decisions that are important for the company,” – wrote the representative of the state in the supervisory board of “Naftogaz” Yulia Kovaliv.

Note that the Cabinet dismissed Yulia Kovaliv, Natalia Boyko and Yulia Sviridenko.

Dollar rate

Compared to the previous banking day, the exchange rate of the dollar and the euro rose. The American currency has risen in price by two kopecks, and the euro has become more expensive by four kopecks.

As Oleg Pendzin, a member of the Economic Discussion Club, told the site “Segodnya”, the so-called sideways trend of the exchange rate, that is, insignificant fluctuations up and down, will remain throughout the last week of September. But the hryvnia in cash will weaken by 5-7 kopecks. on sale, up to 26.8-26.85 UAH / dollar with a subsequent target in October at 27 UAH per dollar.

Unemployment in Ukraine

There are fewer unemployed Ukrainians in Ukraine. According to official statistics, 1.6 million citizens were left without work. According to the State Statistics Service, in the second quarter of this year, the number of working Ukrainians in the 15-70 age category amounted to 15.8 million people.

Among the unemployed there are 873.9 thousand women and 932.1 thousand men. Most of them live in Ukrainian cities – 1,179.7 thousand Ukrainians, and 626.3 thousand people live in rural areas.

At the same time, the employment rate of the population aged 15 and over was 49.7%, and if judging by age groups, among the population aged 15-70 it was 56.2%.
