Mise: ‘ON and Smart & Start’, 200 million for women’s businesses

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 12 – In support of female entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Economic Development has refinanced with 200 million euros the subsidy measures for ON companies (Beyond New Businesses at zero interest), to support the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises and auto entrepreneurship, and Smart & Start, to support innovative startups and SMEs, allocating 100 million euros for each line of intervention. This was announced by a note from the Mise in which it is emphasized that this completes the framework of interventions envisaged by Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which he has allocated for measures in favor of the creation, development and consolidation of businesses led by women for a total amount of 400 million euros.

With the circular published today, the Mise establishes that, starting from next May 19th, applications for the facilities provided by the ON and Smart & Start companies can be presented. It will also be possible to finance projects already submitted from February 1, 2020 that comply with the requirements indicated by the PNRR.

Concessions with zero-interest loans and non-repayable grants are provided for the ON-Enterprise and Smart & Start measures.

With regard to the Women’s Business Fund, the online help desk will be opened on 19 May at 10 am for the sending of incentive applications relating to new companies or those established for less than 12 months. (HANDLE).
