Pensioners have problems with payments – who are not charged the full amount

About 2.5 million Ukrainians may not receive a pension with the promised increase for three months due to problems with accounting documentation.

This was announced on the air of the national telethon by the Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebnaya.

The official hopes that the possibilities of the state budget will make it possible to fulfill the pension increase calendar.

We are talking about working pensioners, who in June were finally supposed to receive recalculated payments, which provided since April.

The fact is that due to the peculiarities of the taxation and reporting system, the Pension Fund receives data on earnings for the first quarter with a delay and working pensioners are trying to index payments “backdating”.

“We are also now automatically transferring pensions to working pensioners. But there are difficulties in reporting employers where these pensioners work, so now the Pension Fund will recalculate in May and people will receive their payments starting in June,” Lazebnaya promised.

If the recalculation can be done, then in June the Ukrainians will have to receive an increase immediately in three months.

Pensioners will be recalculated seniority

The PFC said that some Ukrainians will recalculate the insurance period and one year will be counted as three.

This applies to persons who at one time were deported and sent to a special settlement.

This opportunity arose after the introduction of the law “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine to Improve Pension Legislation”.
