(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 22 – The reorganization of the real estate area of the Cdp Group aims at rationalizing and enhancing assets, which was given the go-ahead by the BoD of Cassa chaired by Gorno Tempini in a session that took place in Naples .
In detail, Cdp Immobiliare Srl is suppressed and Cdp Immobiliare Sgr will be dedicated to asset and fund management activities, focused on investments in urban development and regeneration, social infrastructure of the housing and tourism sector while Fintecna will be focused on the provision of real estate services and management of liquidation processes and also on the sale of the real estate portfolio for which no enhancement activity is envisaged.
The reorganization of the real estate area will be completed, once all the necessary authorizations have been obtained, with the extension of the operations of Cdp Immobiliare Sgr to the infrastructure sector: the new name of the company will be Cdp Real asset Sgr.
Cdp underlines how the infrastructure asset is a central sector for the NRP and for the country’s inclusive and sustainable medium-term growth. The expansion of the SGR’s scope of intervention will be pursued through investments in infrastructure funds in order to stimulate market development, leveraging on the skills present within the Group and on the experience already gained by the SGR in the management of funds of funds, in stimulating the development of specialized asset managers and in the management of investments in residential infrastructure. The new operations, it should be noted, flank the areas of intervention in which the asset management company is already committed and which will be further strengthened in line with the guidelines of the 2022-2024 Strategic Plan.
