In the Mariupol region, Russian invaders are stealing grain with a new crop. The stolen products are being prepared to be exported by sea through the captured port.

According to the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko, collaborators were allowed to take away grain and other types of food from Ukrainian farmers.

All those who disagree are being blackmailed. At the same time, a fourth Russian vessel was spotted in the Black Sea near the Mariupol port.

According to local information, the invaders collect Ukrainian grain and metal, and then take it by sea to Syria. For sale, fake contracts are used.

“Everything stolen by small river-sea vessels will be transported to transshipment points large cargo platforms with cranes, standing in “neutral waters” near Kerch”Andryushchenko explained.

After reloading, large ships go to Syria and work under fictitious documents in the ports of other countries – according to unconfirmed information, in Turkey. The speed of export of the stolen is quite high – from the Mariupol port to the platform the ship reaches in 8 hours.

At the end of May, it was also reported that Russian marauders began to take out the remains of rolled metal and grain from Mariupol by rail. To do this, the invaders undertook to repair the railway in Sartan and near Volnovakha. The amount of damage from thefts is estimated at tens of millions of dollars.

Losses of Ukraine through the Russian Federation

British intelligence released information about what losses Ukraine could suffer due to a full-scale Russian invasion. The calculation included the consequences of the disruption of agricultural work, the blocking of ports and the food crisis. According to preliminary estimates, agricultural exports in 2022 will fall by 65% compared to 2021.

In particular, because of the war, there were disruptions in the supply chains of seeds and fertilizers, on which Ukrainian farmers depend. The blockade of the seaport of Odessa also has a negative impact on exports and global food security.

“After retreating from Serpent’s Island, Russia erroneously stated that on grain exports “the ball is now on the side of Ukraine”– noted in the British department.

They added that, in fact, it is precisely because of the intervention of the Russian Federation in the agricultural sector of Ukraine that the global food crisis is intensifying more and more. However, despite all the intrigues of the enemy, in June Ukraine managed to export 2.7 million tons of agricultural products.

Segodnya wrote earlier that due to the Russian invasion, 4 million tons of grain were blocked in Ukrainian ports, and they also told how and where Russia exports Ukrainian wheat.
