In Ukraine, dozens of boxes with spoiled strawberries were thrown out in one of the supermarkets. The berry rotted while they tried to sell it.
The corresponding video was published by the Odessa public Telegram. It is noted that the video was filmed in the Dnieper. (You can watch the video below this page). Boxes with strawberries were put up near the store.
“It’s better to throw it away than to lower the price. Dnipro. In Odessa, strawberries can already be bought for 50 hryvnia per kilo. In places it’s cheaper or a little more expensive,” the video description says. Readers’ reactions to this fact are mostly angry.
At the same time, as residents of Dnipro write in the local Facebook group, prices for strawberries in the city have fallen. Berries in the markets can be bought no more expensive than in the same Odessa.
“I bought it at Ozerka. The price ranged from 40 to 70 UAH. I bought it for 60”, “At the evening market near the old circus for 40 UAH/kg,” local residents write.
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, in the summer in Ukraine, a shortage of a large number of berries and fruits is expected. Therefore, a significant price reduction should not be expected. At the same time, according to experts, the harvest of watermelons will be sufficient.
