(ANSA) – MILAN, NOVEMBER 23 – Another mixed session on the Asian markets while the yields of American treasuries and the dollar jump due to the reconfirmation of Jerome Powell at the helm of the Fed and the consequent bets of the market on a rapid path of withdrawal of stimuli monetary.
In Hong Kong (-1.13% unfinished session) a series of Chinese tech stocks suffered from tighter regulation as well as in the wake of US tech sales after Nasdaq’s recent highs. Tokyo was stable (+ 0.09%), Seoul weak (-0.53%) while Shanghai (+ 0.20%) and Shenzhen (-0.21%) moved in opposite directions.
With European and American futures weak, PMI data from the eurozone, where concerns about covid infections remain, and from the United States are expected on the day. (HANDLE).
