Assistant director Mamie Mitchell has filed a lawsuit against Alec Baldwin, the film’s producer and technician at arms. Writes about this BBC.
According to Mitchell, in the script for the filmand there was no pistol shooting episode. The film crew needed to shoot three close-ups: the actor’s eyes, the blood stain on Baldwin’s shoulder, and “the moment when he lowers his hand to his holster and pulls out his revolver.”
The script didn’t say anything about Baldwin or anyone else going to fire the weapon, says Mitchell.
