We will (VAMO3) and moved (MOVI3) should be the positive highlights of the car rent in the first quarter of 2022, say Victor Mizusaki, from Bradesco BBIand Wellington Lourenço, from Agora Investments.

The analysis houses have updated their models of valuation for companies in the sector and slightly increased share target prices, derived from the discounted cash flow model for Vamos, locate (RENT3) and united (LCAM3).

The new target prices are R$19/VAMO3, an increase of 6%; R$66/RENT3, 5% higher; and R$29/LCAM3, +4%. THE target for Movida was maintained at R$27.

Based on the update, Unidas and Localiza have potential up 13% later this year, and Movida and Vamos could jump 50% and 52%, respectively, based on the close on the 13th.

What to expect from companies?

According to analysts, Vamos should report a capex contracted – investments in capital goods – of R$ 1.6 billion, a 62% increase in the annual comparison. The company should benefit from the addition of new contracts with positive returns and strong results in dealership operations.

Movida should present an Ebitda 6% above the consensus in 1Q22. “Movida continues to expand and renew its car fleet through strategic partnerships with some automakers and has also increased daily rental prices to protect ROIC (Return on Invested Capital)”, say Mizusaki and Lourenço.
