O Santander Brasil (SANB11) disclosed to the market, this Wednesday (7), a contract for the acquisition of all the shares of Toro Participações.
As a result, once the operation is carried out, the bank will indirectly hold 100% of the share capital of Toro Corretora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários SA and of Toro Investimentos SA
Santander also announced that the completion of the transaction will be subject to compliance with certain suspensive conditions usual in similar transactions, “including obtaining the relevant regulatory authorizations”.
In a note sent to the market, the bank reiterated that “it will keep its shareholders and the market informed about the evolution of the operation”.
