The Chinese stock market closed down on Monday (20), with the CSI300 index, composed of the main companies listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, devaluing 1.5% and the SSEC, in Shanghai, falling 1.07% .
Even the country’s first benchmark lending rate cut for the first time in 20 months has not cheered investors.
THE iron ore went up for the third time in a row. The most traded iron ore for May delivery on the Dalian stock exchange gained 0.7% to RMB 687.50 per tonne.
The most active iron ore contract for January on the Singapore Stock Exchange rose by up to 6.7%, to US$ 127.95 a ton, the highest value since October 12, and then slowed the increase.
Analysts are optimistic about the recovery in production of steel and the achievement of Beijing’s annual targets.
US U.S, futures indices were trading lower earlier this morning. European stock exchanges also followed the same downward trend, amid fears with the variant omicron.
In Brazil, new data on the Focus Bulletin, do central bank. For the tenth time in a row, the market reduced the expectation of growth of the Brazilian economy in 2021, adjusting to the inflation.
Experts estimate that the Gross Domestic Product (START) should grow 4.58% this year, compared to an increase of 4.65% the week before.
