A number of American media are spreading “outright fakes” about the threat of a new invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.

This was stated on the air of the “Right to Power” program by the head of the “Servant of the People” faction David Arakhamia.

“Outright Fakes”

“I think in two or three weeks … we should do a retrospective analysis of how the big, very well-known media began to disseminate information – worse than Skabeeva and Solovyov. Outright fakes in CNN, Bloomberg, WSJ, etc. This we have to study because these are the elements of hybrid warfare,” he said.

In his opinion, an attempt is now being made to “conclude a new collective security treaty,” and Ukraine is “the best platform for this.”

“We must first do some kind of harm, and then victory. People must understand that this is now costing the country $ 2-3 billion a month, this hysteria, panic. We cannot borrow money in foreign markets, because there are simply insane rates … Many exporters refuse,” the MP said.

In addition, Arakhamia said that in Ukraine, the losses of the economy are counted daily:

“Then we distribute this information to partners through the Foreign Ministry, because they must understand: when someone decides to move the embassy to Lviv, then such news will cost the Ukrainian economy several hundred million dollars.”

What’s happening

Against the backdrop of the continuing military threat from Russia throughout Eastern Europe, the British government decided to increase its troops in Estonia and transfer additional military equipment there.

On February 16, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said they had no evidence to support claims from Moscow about troop withdrawals from Ukraine’s borders.

A day earlier, NATO intelligence could not confirm the fact of the withdrawal of Russian troops from the borders of Ukraine, as stated by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov on the morning of February 15.

Recall that the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service came to the conclusion that Russia would be ready to launch a full-scale military operation against Ukraine from the second half of February.
