(ANSA) – MILAN, 17 FEB – A problem during the maintenance of the swimming pool caused a slight intoxication for about ten people and the evacuation of the entire Assago Forum.
During the quarterly maintenance of the chemicals used for the swimming pool, the employee of an external company probably made a mistake in the composition of the substances in a container, causing a gaseous reaction which, from the rooms under the tank where he was working, was released in the whole plant.
All the offices of the Forum were therefore evacuated, all sports activities were interrupted and the Autogrill bar closed. At the moment there are two self-clinics and six ambulances on site who are assisting the people who accuse annoyances due to the strong smell that has been released, in addition to the firefighters and the carabinieri.
