5 electromedical devices for cryotherapy illegally detained were also seized. In addition, 3 measures were carried out for the suspension or closure of activities without authorization and 3 rooms used as medical clinics that were inside as many beauty centers were seized.
74 violations were ascertained, of which 18 attributable to the abusive exercise of the health profession, to the abusive activation of aesthetic medicine clinics, to irregularities in the management and possession of drugs as they had expired. Another 56 sanctions are contested for non-compliance with authorization and procedures connected with the failure to apply regional laws, the regulations for the beautician activity and the application of the containment measures of Covid-19.
In recent years, the investigators recall, the practice of ‘cold therapy’ has become widespread, through the use of ‘cryochambers’ or ‘cryosaunas’ in gyms, wellness or beauty centers, which can reach temperatures as low as -130 ° centigrade, as a method offered for maintaining physical efficiency and for the prevention and rehabilitation of particular pathologies.
