Income: police checks in Calabria, four complaints

(ANSA) – RIZZICONI, MAY 06 – Four migrants, residing in Rizziconi, in the province of Reggio Calabria, and employed in the agricultural sector, were denounced in a state of freedom by the carabinieri of the provincial command of Reggio Calabria because, according to the accusation, have received the Citizenship Income without being entitled to it.

The complaints against the four migrants were presented by the military to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Palmi at the end of a series of checks that involved a total of 244 people, all holders of citizenship income.

The tax damage deriving from the unlawful perception of income by the four reported amounts to almost 19 thousand euros.

The carabinieri also reported the irregularities found to the INPS so that it can revoke the granting of income against the denounced. (HANDLE).
