(ANSA) – BUSTO ARSIZIO (VARESE), 25 MAY – The funeral of Carol Maltesi, 26, killed and torn to pieces by the neighbor Davide Fontana in the house of the young woman will be celebrated on 6 June next in Sesto Calende (Varese) in Rescaldina (Milan).

The Public Prosecutor of Busto Arsizio (Varese) gave the go-ahead for the return of the body to the family, having completed all the investigations necessary to reconstruct the murder and to verify the declarations of Fontana, guilty.

The 43-year-old real estate agent in prison in Busto Arsizio said he acted out of anger after a phone call from the ex-boyfriend of the girl he was infatuated with and then tried in different ways to get rid of the body.

Carol, mother of a six-year-old boy, had recently communicated to him that she wanted to move to Verona, just to live closer to her son.

The funeral is scheduled for Monday 6 June at 10, in the abbey of San Donato in Sesto Calende, where the victim’s mother lives. (HANDLE).
