Fugitive arrested by the carabinieri disguised as bathers

(ANSA) – NAPLES, 20 JUN – The 33-year-old fugitive Luigi Piscopo, originally from Arzano (Naples), who escaped the anticamorra blitz of last April 25, was arrested by the carabinieri disguised as bathers.

The military of the Castello di Cisterna Investigative Unit blocked him while he was in the company of his family in a beach located in Baia Azzurra, in Sessa Aurunca, in the Caserta area.

He is believed by the investigators to be linked to the so-called “167” Camorra group of Arzano and to have participated in an association aimed at drug dealing.

In the operation of April 25, 27 people out of 29 were arrested, also believed to belong to the same criminal organization.

Piscopo was the only one who missed the roll. Last 21 May, in fact, again the carabinieri arrested the penultimate fugitive, Alterio Gennaro, tracked down in the seaside resort of Vietri sul Mare (Salerno). (HANDLE).
